Stacia Gillam is a disciplined marketer and brand strategist with decades of experience in business operations ranging from start-up to mature businesses, and an expertise in investment operations and regulation. As President of McKinley Management, Stacia oversees the firm’s operational platform—finance, human resources, legal, facilities, and information technology—which supports McKinley’s two subsidiaries: McKinley Alaska Private Investment and McKinley Research Group.

In addition, as Chief Compliance Officer for McKinley Alaska’s private investment business, she manages all aspects of investment operations and ensures the firm meets strict regulatory requirements as a registered investment advisor. Under her leadership, McKinley was recognized as a Best Places to Work in Money Management by Pensions and Investments magazine for 3 years in a row, and by the Alaska Journal of Commerce as a Best Workplaces Alaska for 2 years.

Stacia joined McKinley Capital in 2019 as Director of Client Service, was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer of McKinley Management in 2021 and appointed Chief Operating and Compliance Officer following McKinley Capital’s acquisition by Denali Advisors in 2024. In 2025, she was named President of McKinley
Management, continuing in her dual capacity as Chief Compliance Officer.

Before joining McKinley, Stacia served as managing owner of Alaska Glacier Products, a bottled water start-up in Anchorage and Vice President of Client Service at Nerland Agency/Worldwide Partners, where she spent two decades building brand strategies and managing global marketing programs across Alaska industries. Her early professional experience includes marketing and public relations roles with Hilton Hotels in Chicago and Kennedy Group in Dallas.

Stacia earned her bachelor’s degree with academic honors in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School for Communication. She completed the Advertising Agencies Association of America Executive Leadership Program, is a graduate of Hamburger University, and was a McDonald’s
national first-place winner for local marketing strategy. She is being inducted into the Alaska Business Hall of Fame in 2027, was recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 by the Alaska Journal of Commerce, is the 2026 co-chair of the Anchorage Mayor’s annual charity ball, served on the capital campaign committee for Covenant House Alaska, and plays piano at her church.

Stacia lives in Anchorage with her husband Rob and two college-age sons. She enjoys music, gardening, cooking, and foraging in Alaska’s wilderness
